How This Site Handles Your Data
Last updated: July 2026
This site uses PostHog and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors interact with it. Analytics data is not sold or shared with advertisers. Below are the specifics.
What This Site Collects
Analytics Data
This site uses PostHog, an open-source product analytics platform, to track:
- Pages visited (full URL including query parameters)
- When you leave a page
- Which buttons and links you click
- JavaScript errors that occur during your visit
- Web performance metrics (how fast the page loads and how stable the layout is)
- Session replays — recordings of mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, console logs, and network request timing
Cloudflare Web Analytics
This site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused traffic and performance analytics service. Its JavaScript beacon records page views and page-load timing metrics. Reports can be broken down by page path, referrer, country, device type, browser, and operating system. Query strings are not logged.
Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data, track individuals across sites, use cookies or localStorage for usage metrics, or fingerprint visitors.
Technical Data
The PostHog SDK automatically collects:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Device type (desktop, mobile, or tablet)
- Screen resolution and viewport size
- Approximate geographic location (derived from your IP address)
- Referring URL (how you arrived at the site)
Identifiers
PostHog assigns an anonymous device ID (stored in a cookie) and a session ID to track activity across pages. These are random identifiers — they are not tied to your name, email, or any account. This site has no user accounts or login system.
How Data Is Collected
The PostHog JavaScript SDK and Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon load on every page of this site. PostHog sets first-party cookies to maintain session continuity across page navigations.
Analytics requests are routed through this site's own domain (via an /ingest path) rather than directly to PostHog's servers. This means some browser-based ad blockers may not block these requests. This routing is disclosed here for transparency.
The Cloudflare beacon sends page-view and performance measurements to Cloudflare's Web Analytics service. It does not use cookies, localStorage, or client-side identifiers to track visitors.
Why Data Is Collected
Analytics data is used to understand which pages are useful, which calls to action resonate, where visitors drop off, and where the site has technical issues. This information directly informs improvements to the site.
Data is not used for advertising, behavioral profiling, or resale to third parties.
Third Parties
PostHog Inc.(San Francisco, CA) processes analytics data. Data is stored on PostHog's US-based infrastructure. PostHog's privacy policy is available at posthog.com/privacy.
Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, CA) hosts this site and processes standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, user agents) in the normal course of hosting.
Cloudflare, Inc. processes the traffic and performance measurements described above for Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/policies/privacy.
Other than the service providers described above, analytics data is not provided to advertising networks or data brokers.
Cookies
PostHog sets a first-party cookie to store your anonymous device ID and session configuration. This cookie is scoped to this domain only.
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage to collect usage metrics.
Session Replays
PostHog records session replays that capture mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, page content as rendered, console logs, and network request timing. These replays help identify usability issues and technical errors.
Form input fields are not captured by autocapture. No sensitive data is intentionally recorded. Session replays are only accessible to the Demand Delta team.
Data Retention
Analytics data is retained according to PostHog's standard retention policies for the plan in use. Session replay recordings are retained for up to 3 years.
Cloudflare states that unsampled Web Analytics beacon data is retained for 7 days, after which it is aggregated and sampled for longer-term reporting.
Your Choices
- Ad blockers: Most browser-based ad blockers will reduce or prevent one or both analytics services, though the PostHog reverse proxy may bypass some blockers (as noted above).
- Disable JavaScript: The analytics SDK requires JavaScript. Disabling it prevents all tracking.
- Clear cookies: Clearing your browser cookies for this domain resets your PostHog anonymous device ID. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage for usage metrics.
This site does not currently honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, as there is no universal standard for how DNT should be implemented.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors. The site's content is intended for business professionals in the engineering and industrial services sector.
